ABOUT YACHT BLAST FOR KIDS
Since its Inception in 2009, Yacht Blast for Kids has granted 315 wishes for deserving wish children through Make-A-Wish® Wisconsin. Each year, nearly 40 Make-A-Wish kids and their families are invited out on some of Milwaukee's premier yachts for an amazing morning on the water - followed by an afternoon picnic with games, magician, raffles, auctions, face painting and more.
The Milwaukee Yacht Club will open their doors to the public starting at 11:30am for those interested in joining the wish families and boat captains for lunch. Lunch will be served through 1pm.

ABOUT MAKE-A-WISH
Make-A-Wish® Wisconsin grants wishes to children 2.5-18 years old, who are living with critical illnesses. Since their founding in 1984, more than 7,900 children and their families throughout the state have experienced the life-changing power of a wish.
A wish come true helps children feel stronger, more energetic, more willing and able to battle their critical illnesses. For many, the wish marks a turning point in the fight against their illnesses. Doctors, nurses and other health professionals say, the wish experience works in concert with medicine to make their patients feel better emotionally and even physically. You can help change a child's life by participating in Yacht Blast For Kids.

2024 SCHEDULE

Boat owners will take Make-A-Wish families out for a leisurely ride through the lake and Milwaukee River. Head out to the riverwalk to wave to the wish kids!
11:00am
The public can enjoy the parade of boats + wish kids anywhere along the lakefront from McKinley Marina, up through the Milwaukee River to East Buffalo Street.
11:30am
Wish Kids, families & boat captains will enjoy lots of fun activities at the Milwaukee Yacht Club, including bounce houses, characters & mascots, early access to the silent auction, and more!
1:30pm
